  2. My purpose to my family, friends, etc is to show them who Christ is. "For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ" Galatians 3:26-27. I am a daughter of the King and am clothed myself with His Son. I need to act accordingly. I remember teaching a kids Sunday School and telling them how God helps the poor. One of the kids asked me how He does it. He does it because, as a daughter of His, I do it. I am His representive to everyone I meet.

  3. Galations 2:20 - I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
    This is my life verse that drives me everyday. All of oir purpose is to be a light for others. When i seen Rich's tat Galations 6:14, i didn't know what that verse was. So i had to pick up my bible and read it. That was about six months ago. Since then, iv been reading my bible daily. I thought it was a great way to witness to someone. So i decided to get Galations 2:20 tattooed up my side the same style Rich has. Hopefully it effects someone the same as it did me, and brings someone closer to god.

  5. I'm with you, Eirc. I've been rocked by Galatians 2:20 for the last month or so. My prupose in this next year is to live and breathe that truth- I'm crucified with Christ and it's him who's doing the living. Amazing and world shattering mystery right there.

  8. Romans 10:13-14 for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!"

    Our purpose is to spread the good news! How cool is that?

  9. Psalm 18: 25-29

    To the faithful you show yourself faithful;
    to those with integrity you show integrity.
    26 To the pure you show yourself pure,
    but to the wicked you show yourself hostile.
    27 You rescue the humble,
    but you humiliate the proud.
    28 You light a lamp for me.
    The Lord, my God, lights up my darkness.
    29 In your strength I can crush an army;
    with my God I can scale any wall.

    My purpose is to take the risks so I can experience faith and allow Him to show Himself faithful to me. Whether it's a WOD or life, He can't show me who He is, if I don't take the steps, the risks or attempt to scale the walls of indecision and doubt. He doesn't want me to sit at the bottom of the wall and focus on the wall. He wants me to focus on Him and His strength. Just do it! :) Nike stole that from God...just saying....

  10. John 3:30 "He must become greater and greater, and I must become less and less." NLT

    Have this tattooed on my side to make sure I live this every day of my life.

  11. Romans 5:3-5

    3 And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; 4 and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope; 5 and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

    My purpose is to walk closely with and glorify Christ. If I remain close to him in all situations, his light will shine upon my family and friends. If I remain humble, I will get to see him work in their lives as well. He might even let me be a part of his work!

  12. Colossians 3:23-24
    And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;
    Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ
