TODAY'S STEPS

READ:  Psalm 37

In Your Journal:

#1 - Write a prayer of praise that is inspired by the words of this passage.  Make it personal to you.

#2 - Reflect on the last 24 hours.  How did the Lord work in your personal life, your professional/academic life, and your relationships?

STUDY

Define the term and concept of "TOUGHNESS."

*Share your definition and thoughts on Comments.

"Trust in the Lord and do good;
    dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.
Take delight in the Lord,
    and he will give you the desires of your heart.

Commit your way to the Lord;
    trust in him and he will do this:
He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn,
    your vindication like the noonday sun.

Be still before the Lord
    and wait patiently for him..."

  1. What a great Psalm! I needed this today and it is truly awesome how God puts these passages in front of us to hold our thoughts and to keep us patient.

  2. The term "safe pasture" jumped out at me. If you have herd or flock animals you know that having a safe pasture is important. Not only do you have to watch out for " wolves" or coyotes in our case but also sink holes, poisiousness plants , fences that need fixed, etc. God does all that for us on a daily basis and we dont even acknowledge or realize it. Having a safe pasture for us to dwell in is so important. Praise God for His love and care.
