READPsalm 139:23-24

REFLECT:  What does David ask God to do in these verses?

RESPONDWhat is keeping you from enjoying true spiritual freedom?  Ask God to convict you of anything that is standing in the way.

  3. That is awesome! This verse really tests me to ask the Lord to really search me and push me to freedom.

  4. My life was turned upside down recently, and to much of my own doing. This passage speaks of how God has beenn showing me little by little, everything that I have done, thought or was taught by some worldly person. He has shown me that everything we have here on earth will perish and that in the end, our focus should be on Him. That focus on Him should contain a constant check of the heart and our motives, as we can all fall victim to sin in an instant.

  5. David is wanting to find peace that only God can provide...Philippians 4:4-9...I don't have a hymn book in front of me, but the song titled or with lyrics 'Sweet Peace' comes to mind...have a good day!
