  2. A true competitor learns each day and is disciplined enough to know they do not know everything. Learn the new stuff, remember the old stuff, repeat....

  3. Stephen was persistent and wise...I Am Thine, O Lord by Fanny Crosby in 1875 presents a humble attitude that I hope to strive to always have as a Christian

  4. Reflect:
Stephen was certainly successful. He increased the Word of God and did great wonders and signs among people. Also, his persecution is evidence that he was doing the work of God. God's word reminds us that living according to His will inevitably brings opposition.
    Respond:
In my mind, daily habits of a successful competitor would be seeking council of experienced people (God first, then family/friends/professionals) and reflecting on what has worked/not worked in the past, what the results may be of a decision, and how to refine the present situation.
