Faith WOD

TODAY'S STEPS
READ:  Titus 2:11 - 3:8

REFLECT: What has the power to train us for good works?

RESPOND:  Identify an evil work the Gospel empowers you to eliminate.  Confess this sin and speak renewal through a good work the Lord will produce in its place.

"But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, He saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit." (Titus 3:4-5)

  1. I confess that my failure and reluctance to surrender my will to the will of God results in sin. This is a constant struggle for me, and I will have faith that Gods renewal can bring me to obedience.

  2. Placing false idols before God is a sin that we should be mindful of.

  3. I confess that I am often not respectful to my parents, the ones who love me and are always there to support me. My headstrong and argumentative attitude is something that I am using the Gospel to eliminate. It is helping me to develop new 'roots' which will keep me strong in times of difficulty.

  4. Worry...the gospel saves by telling us not to worry and put everything in God's hands...in the end, Christ is ALL that matters...In His Time by Diane Ball in 1978
