While at a country concert I met a girl who I was interested in getting to know. She was a Christian; so we decided to meet up at church. I felt the love of God reaching through her to me. During that first week that I met her I committed my life to Christ. Since then I married that girl (7 years ago) and have two daughters.Mike Anoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8884496555651135978.post-78001455669820232862013-08-06T07:51:14.293-05:002013-08-06T07:51:14.293-05:00I love 2 Corinthians 2:14 "Now thanks be unto...I love 2 Corinthians 2:14 "Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in everyplace." I came to Christ when I was 17. Even though I grew up in the church I didn't know what it meant to trust in Christ. I went on a mission trip with my youth group and during one of the morning devotions it just "clicked." I learned the true meaning of being patient and let God take control of your life. I thank Him everyday for his amazing blessings and even though I go through rough patches, I know that He is in control and will always get me to where I need to be. I knew who Christ was and I believed in things about Him and the Bible but I never completely put my trust in Him. A church revival changed my mind, the Lord spoke to me and I gave my life to Christ and I try to live out Matthew 6:33 and seek out His righteousness and let everything fall into place. Christ died for me so I try to daily pick up the cross and live for Him.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8884496555651135978.post-45169843915211118282013-08-05T22:43:31.543-05:002013-08-05T22:43:31.543-05:00I am so thankful that I have allowed Christ into m...I am so thankful that I have allowed Christ into my life and given up control to Him. It is a daily battle and I must remind myself of this constantly and I am tested often. I think that this is the single greatest victory that I can claim in Christ...He has one my heart and I am His.

Pat Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8884496555651135978.post-30696577181838759572013-08-05T14:00:39.519-05:002013-08-05T14:00:39.519-05:00I used to think I was always coming in second plac...I used to think I was always coming in second place then I started getting back into the word and going back to church. One day psalms 27 spoke to me and awakened me and I realized that there is definitely victory in Christ and as long as you focus on Jesus in your life there is no losing and there is no second place.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
