Seeing past your current circumstances and situation and believing God’s will, will prevail. Easy to say, sometimes tough to do. But looking upon God’s fingerprints in my life, it should leave no room for worry or doubt.

Hebrews 11:6 is quoted, but the definition of faith is in Hebrew 11:1. Faith isn’t blind, nor is it just “believing” because you feel good about your view. Faith is the “evidence” the unseen.
Hebrews 11 is a “Hall of Fame” of all the “elders” (Old testament believers) that trusted in God, because God had proven himself over, and over, and over again. They trusted that God, who can not change, gave them enough evidence to believe that He will be the same in the future.
Does God keep his promises; YES! Does He reward; YES! It is impossible to please Him if you reject all the evidence He has given.
“He that commeth to God must believe that HE IS” (always existed and always will; All things about are the SAME as they were yesterday, today and forever)
…”and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him” (reading the rest of the chapter you find all those that were rewarded with relationship with Him ETERNALLY.
What’s more, this list of “hall-of-famers” is so long, Heb. 11:32 to the end of the chapter expresses that it includes those that aren’t written of in the old testament… and I would even go so far to believe that God is still recording all those who would hold onto any “evidence/faith” that would point them to HIM.
It’s why it was so important when the Lord Jesus taught that the faith the size of the mustard seed could do SO MUCH!!!. You can have a mountain of evidence to prove He will never change, or you can have just one, and yet that one (though small) is just as powerful to the believer.
We often misinterpret “faith.” It is really “Trust.” And trust is based [as kevin stated] on evidence. God is not cruel. He is good. And he has established thousands of years of evidence of why we can and should put our faith/trust in him.
We can trust him because: he is good. he is faithful. he is the same, yesterday, today and forever. he has rescued us from the penalty of sin.
And if earthly fathers know how to give good gifts to their sons, how much more the heavenly father to those who have faith and trust in him?

New to this Blog but cant wait to start following everyday!
For me faith is believing in somthing even if you havent seen it. For me i will read a book and take it as fact because it is published. I do not have any knowledge my self or experience with what i just read but I will still tell people about it and encourage them to read it and even start teaching what I just read about. So why should the bible be any different? I have read most of it but i still do not teach it, i still do not encourage others to read it. So for me faith is believeing in somthing even if I have no experience with it.

I love this verse about faith from Hebrews 11:1 - now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. I can look back in my life and see that through the challenging times God was always faithful. I can see more clearly what God was trying to teach me and how he uses the past truths in present and future challenges.

There is a great saying that I hear a lot about faith. “Faith is like a rubber band, it’s not useful unless stretched.”
Our faith grows if we stretch it, God uses trials to grow us and if we trust in our faith, we will see His Will on the other side of any circumstance.

New to this Blog but cant wait to start following everyday!
For me faith is believing in somthing even if you havent seen it. For me i will read a book and take it as fact because it is published.
