Commit this passage to memory: “Therefore do not let what you know is good be spoken of as evil. 17 For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, 18because anyone who serves Christ in this way is pleasing to God and receives human approval.19 Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification.” (Romans 14:16-19)

Hey Crossfit family,
So I / my community of friends could use your help. A group of my close friends and I have been doing Crossfit consistently for over a year now together. We meet at least 4 times a week at my friend Troy Gray’s home. He turned his garage into a crossfit gym just for us. We recently learned that Troy has been Diagnosed with Pre T Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). Troy is the Area Director for Young Life in Tempe, AZ, which is a non profit, non denomination Christian outreach to kids in high school. In fact just about everyone that Crossfits with us is a volunteer leader for Young Life as well. He has a huge community of people surrounding him in prayer, but I would like to extend that community as much as possible. If you are someone who prays could you please Pray for Troy, Kelly (wife), Garrison (5 yr old son), and Aven (new born baby girl). Troy is one of the most physically fit and Spiritually fit guys I know so you can imagine how confusing this is for all of us. He is currently in the hospital with a tube that helps him breath easier. He has a softball sized mass in his chest which is pushing on his heart and lungs. please pray for his wife, for strenth and his 5 yr old son who doesn’t understand why his dad is in bed. thanks so much for reading this! pray pray pray (boldly!!!!)
In Him,
Chad

As a survivor of childhood ALL and being fortunate enough to have lived near Memphis, Tn and St. Jude Hospital, I count my blessings every day. My family will definitely pray for God’s blessing in the lives of Troy and his family. I will also send this prayer request to our church network in order for even more support.

So sad. Praying for Troy, his family and all that are touched by his life. Lord, please send them healing and comfort. May Your name be lifted up and magnified through this situation. We know You are able. Amen.

Thanks to everyone who is praying for Troy! He is just such an amazing person it’s unbelievable that this has happened to him. I’m one of the YL kid’s who would go to Troy’s house constantly to do crossfit and daily devotionals with him and my leaders, and I really appreciate everything i’ve seen on here, it’s incredibly moving! Thanks so much
