Faith WOD - 4/12/2012

List the 3 best exercises/methods to achieve health & fitness.

Then, read this passage of Scripture:  Proverbs 3:7-8

"The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, turning a man from the snares of death." (Proverbs 14:27)

  1. Methods to achieve health and fitness other than the obvious " Do Crossfit". lol
    Set a specific time each day to hit the work out.
    Have a group of friends to hold you accountable / motivate you
    The clean and jerk - ;)

    Love this verse to, so often I have to remind myself of it. I have always struggled with the thought of "fear the lord" though.

    Was continuing reading through out Proverbs and this really helped me.
    7:13, TO Fear the Lord is to hate evil.- When evil/temptation is present its the fear of the lord / the hate for those things, that keeps us going

  2. Didn't think of fearing the Lord and shunning evil, but I like it. I would also say (i) getting enough sleep (ii) having fun with CF and working out (iii) find a way to relax and meditate on the Lord (prayer)
