  1. Love today's reading. 1) the message is exactly what I needed to read and wrestle with today - rienforcing God's love for us and to make sure we put him first , no matter what the circumstances- and 2) I loved how we had to look the verse up. - I ended up flipping through more of mathew and spent some solid time reflecting on what I had read. Simple but effective! Thanks guys!

  3. I don't really care about possessions (a house fire when I was a teenager fixed my attachment to anything), but I am possessive about my pride, my time, and how people perceive me (I do not acknowledge Christ enough).

  4. My top 3 possessions - I immediaitely jump to my 3 children (and spouse for a fourth). I know these are not the typical earthly possessions, but if I think - what would I run into a burning house to retrieve - they would be the only things!

As far as the verse, I'm Sam - I' don't acknowledge Christ enough, through word OR deed. Good provoking verse. Thanks!

  5. Brandon you said that exactly. Thanks! I also love that we had to look up the verse and then I kept reading and reflecting.

  6. Top three possessions are my phone, truck, and probably the tv since I use those everyday. If I put more of a priority towards Christ, family, and friends instead of the above possessions, then I would be a stronger and more confident Christian man.

  7. the things of this world are temporal and fleeting. souls are eternal. at my age i've learned to loosen my grip on material stuff and to revere my relationships. just wish i'd learned earlier in my walk so as to have avoided some bumps on the way. my top 3 possessions would be my Bible, my journal and a pen!
