1) Our family just received a referral to adopt a 1.5 yr old boy from the Congo. That now means we need $18,000 that we don't have by the beginning of next week. It's an hourly challenge to have faith that God will provide.

3) Faith in God's forgiveness. It's so easy to think you have to live a perfect life to be a Christian and if you sin, you have fallen short and aren't good enough. While your sin will always cause you to fall short, we have to have faith in the forgiveness of God.

ReplyDeleteThanks for the link! I can't watch it at my job, but my wife did and said this is very similar to our story. We have done the Dave Ramsey thing more than once to get clean out of debt. Did it this time right before the adoption to be debt free before we started.
