Reflect on a specific time when God reminded you He is still there...

"The thought of my pain, my homelessness, is bitter poison. I think of it constantly, and my spirit is depressed. Yet hope returns when I remember this one thing:
The Lord's unfailing love and mercy still continue, Fresh as the morning, as sure as the sunrise.
The Lord is all I have, and so in him I put my hope. The Lord is good to everyone who trusts in him, So it is best for us to wait in patience — to wait for him to save us — And it is best to learn this patience in our youth." (Lamentations 3:19-27)
Coming up on the one year anniversary of my salvation, I can honestly say that this past year has been beyond amazing. Living everyday for the Lord is truly the greatest experience anyone could ever know.
ReplyDeleteAs for this WOD, I would have to say that the past few months have been a constant reminder. I have been looking to open a CrossFit gym in Perrysburg, OH and have had more headaches than imaginable finding a location. No matter how frustrated I got He was always working to open doors that I didn't even know existed. Just when I felt like there was no where to turn, God would put me exactly where I needed to be to keep the process moving forward.
Love what you guys are doing, keep up the good work.
Was feeling horrible about a work mistake that had serious consequences for someone else. Faithfully, the Father inspired my wife with wisdom and insight to help me keep everything in perspective and to challenge me to find ways to glorify Him throughout this trial.
ReplyDeleteThe other day I felt beat down by a friend of mine who was mocking my Christian faith. It was frustrating, because it's times like those where you feel like you're in it alone and you're the only one fighting the good fight. However, later that day someone at my box came up to me and asked about my CrossFit Faith shirt and we had a nice conversation. These little moments are so rewarding, because it's God's way of picking my spirits up and giving me the satisfaction of knowing that He will never leave my side and that He would never leave me out to dry.
