Take 15 minutes of your day and simply meditate/pray about the major areas in your life. Do not ask for specifics. Simply put the areas before God, and make yourself available to receive what He throws your way.

"My dear friends, you always obeyed what you were taught. Just as you obeyed when I was with you, it is even more important for you to obey now that I am not there. So you must continue to live in a way that gives meaning to your salvation. Do this with fear and respect for God. 13 Yes, it is God who is working in you. He helps you want to do what pleases him, and he gives you the power to do it." (Philippians 2:12-13)
I used a note taking method called a mind map to organize the major area in my life. Throughout the process I found that my relationship with the Lord was a regular presence in all of these area. Then it dawned on me; why were the areas of my life the major focus? Why didn't I have God as the center of the mind map and everything else in my life branching off from Him!? This was a real revelation as to where I say I put God in my life and where I was actually putting him. Thanks for the thought exercise.
