I am a high school principal and recently retired Soldier from the Army Reserve. I see my purpose in life to be a Servant Leader for the Lord. There are many opportunities to fulfill this purpose while working with fellow administrators, secretaries, custodians, teachers and students during the final weeks before school officially opens. (Sometimes I wonder if it ever really closes for the summer.) My time in uniform as a Soldier may have come to an end, but I find still myself in the role of a Servant Leader with fellow veterans and other community members. The opportunities to lead while in combat and at home station are regularly called upon to serve in the name of the Lord. I have truly been blessed to be able to serve in His name.
