"Great blessings belong to those who don’t listen to evil advice, who don’t live like sinners, and who don’t join those who make fun of God. 2 Instead, they love the Lord’s teachings and think about them day and night. 3 So they grow strong, like a tree planted by a stream— a tree that produces fruit when it should and has leaves that never fall. Everything they do is successful."
(Psalm 1:1-3)
Success is defined as living my life, both in the little day to day decisions and the larger more significant events in such a way as to hear "Well done my good and faithful servant."
ReplyDeleteThis is my first time commenting. I love this site. Success to me is when you serve God to the best of your ability and when you are able to spread the word to someone new everyday. One of the most successful things to me is when I am able to talk to my children about the life of Christ.
ReplyDeleteSuccess is knowing that you've made a difference(a change or accomplishment) through HIM. Phil 4:13 " I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
ReplyDeleteThere can be a lot done with the word success when it comes to evangelism, to serving others and so on. These are all great in striving to be successful at. Another way of having success is when you have a struggle and you decide to not entertain that struggle of sin in your life and you hope/ pray that if you defeated that struggle on that day or hour you would be able to do it again the next day! Thank You Holy Spirit!
