"Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever. 2 Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story— those he redeemed from the hand of the foe, 3 those he gathered from the lands, from east and west, from north and south."
Wow, to think that God is passionate about us is pretty intense. We know that God loves each and every one of us, but passion? Could it be that God has strong and barely controllable emotions towards us? Could it be that the thing when absent that causes Him to suffer is actually us? What an amazing God we serve. If God is that passionate about me, I want to be that passionate about Him as well. Give me that fire as well.
