JOURNEY - DAY 40

candy_caneLAST DAY OF THIS JOURNEY...

Today, we are finishing our 40-day Journey. If you stayed committed to the entire 40-day program, you should feel extremely exhilarated by learning to walk with your "staff."  Finish strong today - and keep the habit going.  Keep an eye on the site - more challenges to come!

TODAY'S STEPS

READ:  2 Peter 1

In Your Journal:

#1 - Write a prayer of praise that is inspired by the words of this passage.  Make it personal to you.

#2 - Reflect on the last 24 hours.  How did the Lord work in your personal life, your professional/academic life, and your relationships?

STUDY

Read through your journal today.  Read the 40-day story God just wrote through your life!

*Share highlights of your JOURNEY on Comments.

"So I will always remind you of these things, even though you know them and are firmly established in the truth you now have. 13 I think it is right to refresh your memory as long as I live in the tent of this body, 14 because I know that I will soon put it aside, as our Lord Jesus Christ has made clear to me. 15 And I will make every effort to see that after my departure you will always be able to remember these things."

  2. Thank you for leading this journey. Whomever organized this series of meditations did an outstanding job. The Bible verses were spot on in challenging and guiding me to look deep into my soul to answer the questions at hand. The video clips added a special reinforcement to the lesson or a unique take on a concept that was presented. You have truly blessed the season of Advent with your work.

  3. Just finished day 40. It was just what I needed. Having a specific study/reading plan is crucial for me otherwise I tend to drift away from daily Bible time. I'll be looking forward to the next one. Merry Christmas to everyone.

  4. This journey has taught me so much on how to be a spiritual leader in my marriage and in life. Tonight I was able to share the Christmas service with my parents for the first time. I never thought I would ever be able to have them with me at church and share my love of Christ with them. I feel ready for the challenge ahead of me and I am thankful for this website and the daily challenge we get. What an awesome 40 day series!
