READMatthew 28:16-20

REFLECT: How does Christ challenge us in our spiritual influence?

RESPOND:  Think of the next 3 months.  Continue to ask God for direction in using your life for His glory.
1 - Review your personal vision statement for spiritual growth.
2 - Expand the statement to include how you can be useful as a spiritual leader for those outside your family.
3 - Include any specific goals you hope to achieve.

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
*Our next "Journey" will be through the book of Nehemiah.  For background information, read this helpful synopsis from John MacArthur:  Introduction

  1. I think God will put us in situations that make us uncomfortable at times and even nervous. A year ago I never would have thought about leading a bible study for newly engaged couples. My wife and I felt led to do it and we love it. I know God has challenged me and I want to be a better spiritual leader at work and throughout my family.

  2. Christ is the Influence! Like Paul said, "It's not I (ego) that live, but Christ that lives in my stead.
