Faith WOD

TODAY'S STEPS
REFLECT:  How do we know if we have been faithful to the work of God?

RESPOND:  List your "work references" - 3 individuals who can vouch for your faithfulness to God's work.  Then, send them a note of encouragement.

"Does it sound like we’re patting ourselves on the back, insisting on our credentials, asserting our authority? Well, we’re not. Neither do we need letters of endorsement, either to you or from you. You yourselves are all the endorsement we need. Your very lives are a letter that anyone can read by just looking at you. Christ himself wrote it—not with ink, but with God’s living Spirit; not chiseled into stone, but carved into human lives—and we publish it."

  1. This was just the passage I needed today! A great reminder that "wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom." Thank you for posting on here everyday--it always seems to be exactly what I need.

  2. I've fallen away from god have been for a long time I feel god has led me to crossfit which has led me back to god. I want to be the man god wants me to be. As I reflect on the above question I know I haven't been faithful to the works of god outside of thanking him for my safety (I'm a SWAT cop).

  3. Coach,

I think that I would list: Cory, Randy, and Tommy as my work references. I feel that these men know me very well and know my heart. I am blessed to fellowship with them and proud to call them friends! I really like that they hold me accountable and I feel like a better man as a result of our interactions. I praise God for them and feel blessed to have them in my life
