"But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God." (Acts 20:24)

  1. It seems to me that since Paul was not among the first apostles who actually walked with Jesus, he speaks as someone who has put total faith in the truth of the teachings of the original twelve as well as witnessing God's power through them. Basically, Paul is saying 'this is what I've seen and learned and know to be the true gospel of Jesus and how we should live as Christians, and I now share this with you'.

  2. I see this verse as a continuation of the sin committed by Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. Christians have truly looked into the face of Jesus and have seen the truth; essentially eating from the “tree of knowledge”. With that knowledge, comes the responsibility to witness and be humble (jars of clay) and for that choice we will suffer. But we are reminded that the mortal life is temporary, and we will have our peace in Heaven because of our faith. Where as those that refuse to see the truth, may live a veiled life, but will be condemned to suffer for eternity.

  3. I believe Paul did not lose heart b/c he was not teaching the gospel of Christ as a duty or for himself, but he taught with joy in the gospel and conviction from the Holy Spirit to see people come to Christ. Paul was so obedient to Christ and it seems everything Paul did he did with such determination, even when he persecuted the Christians he did it as hard as he could and when he became a Christian he witnessed just as hard for Christ.

  4. I believe Pauls ministry was his faith. He showed others the glory of God by living what he believed and living the same thing he taught. Someone earlier mentioned Pauls not actually bring an original 12 but to hear him, he spoke with such faith you would have never known it.

  5. Without repeating what others have said, it simple seems that Paul kept his eyes on Christ. His faith was strong and his vision and purpose was clear. Where non-believers were blinded, he had perfect sight. Paul is a shining example of dying to ourselves and renewing our selves daily in our Christian walk.

  7. Lots of potential property owners develop the desire coping with a fresh building. Possibly the uniqueness with this strategy provides a thing to do with the truth that the home is going to be completely thoroughly clean along with modern-day.Construction
