Faith WOD

READ:  Ecclesiastes 3

REFLECT:  What is the consistent purpose for which we are given the different seasons of life?

RESPOND: Identify the "time" that applies to you presently in life.

"For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven."

  1. The 'times' that apply to my life right now include "A time to heal" and "A time to build up."

  2. Actually my answer will sound a bit stupid and perhaps "easy" to some of you. Because I'm new to CFF and re-found god again after years of abstinence, I'm not used to think "that christian", yet, as some of you perhaps do.

I really enjoyed reading your WOD. Because I'm not able to go out a lot this times because of my classes, but used to be a "relationship"- person (no plan if this word exists in English... actually I'm a person, that loves to be in a relationship and feel the love of the other person), there's nobody I can meet this time, which made me kind of sad and made me pray to got, to help me find "my other half". After reading Ecclesiastes 3, i realized, that there's no need to pray to god for a girlfriend any more. He has his plans for me, and when the time is right for a new relationship, he will tell me. And if now is the time to study for my degree and to experience the love of god, this is the time, but there's no need to worry, that will come tomorrow.
I hope, i wrote those sentences, so that everyone can understand (I come from Germany, so English isn't my native language -.-).
It's hard for me to identify the times that apply to my life right now. Actually a bit of everything is present all the time.
Hope you'll have a nice Sunday (in Germany it's almost time for lunch now) and many thanks for your work!

  3. It seems I've been in the negative side of all of them for six months. I've been tearing my life to pieces. It hasn't broken me yet. I'm 32 and my anger is burning with rage at the world. I hope it subsides soon. I still pray however, I get so angry at churches I've never been about to join one.
