"But now you have
arrived at your destination: By faith in Christ you are in direct
relationship with God. Your baptism in Christ was not just washing you
up for a fresh start. It also involved dressing you in an adult faith
wardrobe—Christ’s life, the fulfillment of God’s original promise." (Galatians 3:26-27 - The Message)
I have tried to enter the feast by my good acts and by constantly trying to please God which is impossible without Christ.
ReplyDeleteI still don't really understand what the wedding garment is
ReplyDeleteThane, props for being transparent. I think the righteousness of Christ is the wedding garment, as He is our Righteousness, we were baptized into Him, we are instructed to "put Him on" and we are told that "in Him we live & breath & move". "He will be called Yahweh, our Righteousness".
ReplyDeleteWedding garment is our purity and preparedness which can only be found in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ when we are in obedience to him through the waters of baptism and our faithful walk with Him after we become a Christian...no excuses...All Things Are Ready or Come To The Feast by Charles H. Gabriel in 1895
