  1. This is actually very timely for me. A lot Of changes are going on in my life right now and setting new goals is gonna be really important for me.

My biggest short term goal is to make a much bigger effort to control my social life and the picture it paints of me in my crossfit cimmunity and how that reflects my relationship with Christ. I have let the lifestyle of those around me change me rather than vice versa. I have set down some concrete boundaries over the last week or so and am gonna do everything I can to stick to them. I just pray that I can get out of Gods way and let him change me.

  2. I love those times when I feel like God and me are on the same page.
Yesterday I realized that I just don't have the same zeal for Christ as I do for Crossfit and paleo. I told Him that and he reminded me of Hebrews 12:1 (Throw off all that keeps me bound and run the race that God has given to me, not the other guy).
He also reminded me of this site and today I am asked to set/update my goals. He is never far and His plans are so much better than mine.
    Thanks, CFF, for being here.

  3. I just found out about crossfit faith today and as I read through all the WODs since Jan 1, I thought I'd start at the next time to start goals. Of course, God has perfect timing and today is the first day to do that.

Short term goal, to begin doing these WODs every day to help restore my personal walk back to where it used to be.

Also, I appreciate the opportunity to participate in these challenges with you folks.

  4. One of my personal faith goals for the next three months is to memorize Romans 8, Deuteronomy 4, and Colossians 3. (One each month). If I spent as much time hungering and thirsting for the Word as I do working out, this is extremely plausible. So I guess, the real goal is to restore that discipline in maintaining focus on who God is and what He has done.

  5. Madison, I'm impressed with your ambition for desiring to memorize scripture. By God's grace you will succeed! I will be praying for you as your Crossfit sister and sister in Christ!

  8. Thank you for developing this site. I've been checking it out on and off for about 3 weeks now. I decided this morning to jump in and start with this WOD since it focused on setting Personal Faith goals. I am goal oriented but also too busy and haven't taken time to do this for 2012. My goals for Apr-Jun 2012 are 1. Establish a quiet time with God 2. Memorize a key verse for my life weekly 3. Meditate on sharing God's word. I have also written down specific steps for each. I believe this is doable and look forward to staying plugged in.
