"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.  14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well." (Psalm 139:13-14)

  1. After a knee injury on Thursday, I have been repeating that verse to myself alot, trusting that God who knit me together once, can do it again. My rehab is going good so far and I appreciate this added encouragement, very timely for my life and reinforces that God sees my faith in Him! Thank you.

  2. Hi Dustin,

I don't know you personally, but I just wanted you to know that I prayed for you today. May your healing be fast, and your mind be stayed on the cross.

A characteristic in that demonstrated God's design within me is love. In love, I lift up my brother Dustin Taylor, that he be strengthened and able to move about as freely as he did before his knee injury.

  3. Gods strength within me is most clear, to me, when I am struggling. Whether its health (cancer, chemo, surgeries) or the death of a child (1999), I see Him most clearly when I have to seek Him for daily strength. I need Him so much everyday. I want to seek Him with great need everyday but on easy days, I can forget how needy I am.
He is faithful. In hindsight, I am encouraged by how he has carried me through the years.

  4. He created my inmost being. Today I think that means he made the me that is deep within my physical body and boundaries. The me that He loved enough to live and die for. The me that He ha fixed his love upon, whose standing will not change whether my body fails or exceeds. He orchestrated that me in my mothers womb and I'm convinced He has a purpose for what I face now physically. I've been trying to rehab an injury as well. At times I become despondent but I cling to His word, I am wonderfully made. 1. He equipped me with a desire to seek Him. 2. He gave me a heart to love Him. 3. He gave me a voice to praise Him. "for I know whate'er befall me, Jesus doeth all things well."

  5. I appreciate the prayer, I am amazed at the speed of recovery so far. I did a workout last night with box squats (body weight) and shoulder press and push ups.

    Thank you Greg.
