Faith WOD - 9/27/2012

Read 1 John 3:1.  Write the verse on a note card and carry it with you all day.  Read it every time you think of it.

  1. It’s overwhelming to think that I’m a child of God. I know my thoughts and what runs through my head in my times of weakness. But that’s where Gods Grace comes in, that it’s not up to me to be saved but it’s through the sacrifice Jesus made on the Cross that I am saved.
    Ephesians 2:8-9
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast
    Thank you Jesus!!!

  2. The words "appear" and "teach" stand out to me. The fact that God's salvation is there for the grasping when I am undeserving is overwhelming. The fact that it "teaches" us makes me aware a.)that I'm a work in progress, much like my power snatces, and b.)that grace is active everyday in ways that I don't realize at the time but later contemplate with an amazement and respect for the God that works in such an incomprehnsible and loving way. I can't believe I doubt sometimes.

  4. The love of our heavenly Father blows me away, especially when (like Chris said) of the battles that go on inside me, but He loved me anyway WOW! My heart turns in my chest when I really stop to think of it!
