  1. it seems that every journey i seem to start in life is accompanied by some level of fear. maybe not fear in the traditional sense of the word, but rather a form of "uneasyness" or "anxiety" about the unknown path that lie ahead.

i think that innate fear of the unknown is intrinsic to us as humanity. we don't like not knowing what could happen, or not feeling in control of our lives' direction. however, as a follower of Christ, i should strive to realize that it doesnt really matter if i am in control, or if i know where the path ultimately ends, because just as cited in the above verse, if we do His word, He will carry us on eagles' wings back to himself.

  2. I suppose that there would always be a destination. You may not always know what it is, but it's always there.

  3. I notice how prepared I am after a short distance with no turning back, I have to push forward with what I've got. I may struggle but I always make it to the end with perseverance, faith, and good ole' hard work!

  5. The journey of faith requires just that, FAITH. We may not know exactly when or where we will arrive, but we have to develop the ability to trust that God has a good plan and will not lead us astray. I love the NLT version of Hebrews 11:1, It says "Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see."
