TODAY'S STEPS

READColossians 4

REFLECT: What are practical ways in which God can use the wisdom, circumstances, and talents he has given you to glorify Him?

RESPOND:  Think of the next 3 months.  Continue to ask God for direction in using your life for His glory.
1 - Create a personal vision statement for your career or academic pursuits.
2 - Include any specific goals you hope to achieve.
3 - Spend time in prayer that God will use your efforts for His glory.

"Walk in wisdom toward outsiders, making the best use of the time. Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person."

*We will begin our next "Journey" on Monday, April 22nd.  We will go through the book of Nehemiah.  For background information, read this helpful synopsis from John MacArthur:  Introduction.

  1. Chip, I apologize for being behind on the devotionals...I did read the introduction to Nehemiah and I plan to follow that study...as far as this devotional I think of the song 'Seek Ye First the Kingdom of God'...if I do that then God will provide the wisdom for me to minister from my roles that I have in life...thanks for your work Chip
