REFLECT: What was the "act" that led to justification?

"...so one act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all men."
Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection...E.M. Bartlett wrote in 1939 Victory in JesusReplyDelete
The "one act of righteousness" that Jesus performed would be willingly suffering a horrible death and because of His obedience to the Father, we are shown grace in our sinfulness. His death, burial, and resurrection are huge in the case for the human race, but I think we often times over look the rest of Jesus' person... the rest of His life (both before and after His sacrifice). His righteousness and obedience during His life is a prime example for us to follow.
