REFLECT: What is the "triumphal procession" in which we are led?
RESPOND: Write down your story of victory in Christ - your testimony.

"In the Messiah, in Christ, God leads us from place to place in one perpetual victory parade. Through us, he brings knowledge of Christ. Everywhere we go, people breathe in the exquisite fragrance."
I used to think I was always coming in second place then I started getting back into the word and going back to church. One day psalms 27 spoke to me and awakened me and I realized that there is definitely victory in Christ and as long as you focus on Jesus in your life there is no losing and there is no second place.
ReplyDeleteI am so thankful that I have allowed Christ into my life and given up control to Him. It is a daily battle and I must remind myself of this constantly and I am tested often. I think that this is the single greatest victory that I can claim in Christ...He has one my heart and I am His.

I went my own way for many years and played "Church" for so long, and I wondered why my life seemed so unorganized and directionless. I knew who Christ was and I believed in things about Him and the Bible but I never completely put my trust in Him. A church revival changed my mind, the Lord spoke to me and I gave my life to Christ and I try to live out Matthew 6:33 and seek out His righteousness and let everything fall into place. Christ died for me so I try to daily pick up the cross and live for Him.
ReplyDeleteI love 2 Corinthians 2:14 "Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in everyplace." I came to Christ when I was 17. Even though I grew up in the church I didn't know what it meant to trust in Christ. I went on a mission trip with my youth group and during one of the morning devotions it just "clicked." I learned the true meaning of being patient and let God take control of your life. I thank Him everyday for his amazing blessings and even though I go through rough patches, I know that He is in control and will always get me to where I need to be.
ReplyDeleteI was raised nominally Christian and lived in rebellion against God until I was 25 y/o. While at a country concert I met a girl who I was interested in getting to know. She was a Christian; so we decided to meet up at church. I felt the love of God reaching through her to me. During that first week that I met her I committed my life to Christ. Since then I married that girl (7 years ago) and have two daughters.
