READ: Colossians 1:3-14
REFLECT: How did Paul know the Colossians had been affected by the gospel?
RESPOND: List 2 areas of your life that seem to remain attached to the "domain of darkness." Pray for the power of God to break these bonds.

"The lines of purpose in your lives never grow slack, tightly tied as they are to your future in heaven, kept taut by hope." (The Message)
Sometimes I say rude and not glorifying things to the people I work with. It isn't things that anyone else would find out of the ordinary but I know in my heart that it wasn't what Jesus would have said. Also, I often find myself not having complete faith in God and his plan for me, I recently broke my arm at crossfit and it has been a struggle to remain joyful and trust that God has an amazing plan for me. I am praying and digging deep to rip out these 'dark' roots which were acceptable in my old life, but I am made new through Christ and I pray that he will ferociously expose all of my 'dark domains' and that he will make in me a pure heart.ReplyDelete
Two areas in my life where the roots run deep are impure thoughts, and judging others. I have allowed God to make great progress in me, but I still find create or find old ways to hold onto these things. I will pray for Gods power in breaking free from these bonds.ReplyDelete
