Faith WOD

TODAY'S STEPS
READ:  Colossians 1:3-14

REFLECT:  How did Paul know the Colossians had been affected by the gospel?

RESPOND:  List 2 areas of your life that seem to remain attached to the "domain of darkness."  Pray for the power of God to break these bonds.

  1. Sometimes I say rude and not glorifying things to the people I work with. It isn't things that anyone else would find out of the ordinary but I know in my heart that it wasn't what Jesus would have said. Also, I often find myself not having complete faith in God and his plan for me, I recently broke my arm at crossfit and it has been a struggle to remain joyful and trust that God has an amazing plan for me. I am praying and digging deep to rip out these 'dark' roots which were acceptable in my old life, but I am made new through Christ and I pray that he will ferociously expose all of my 'dark domains' and that he will make in me a pure heart.

  2. Two areas in my life where the roots run deep are impure thoughts, and judging others. I have allowed God to make great progress in me, but I still find create or find old ways to hold onto these things. I will pray for Gods power in breaking free from these bonds.
