Faith Workout

TODAY'S STEPS
READ:  Hebrews 12:1-17

REFLECT:  Why did Christ endure the cross for us?
 

RESPOND:  
1 - List 3 specific "weights" you have power to lay down since Christ endured the cross for you.
2 - Spend 5-10 minutes in prayer claiming the promises of this passage.

    2. Trying to be something or somebody that I am not. I've learned to be who God has placed me on the earth to be. Accept the ones that take me for who I am and love the ones that reject me and don't accept me.
    3. Learning to be satisfied and content with the things that I need and not necessarily the things that I want.

  3. The weight of trying to uphold all laws perfectly. The weight of my sins are lifted from me and transferred to Jesus. The weight of hopelessness has been replaced by hope and joy since Jesus created a way for us to the father through him.
