“Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up! Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.” (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12)

My initial reaction to this question is a lot like “lisaq”. However, I have a 12 year old daughter and I need to be a positive mentor to her (as a Mom and as a woman). CrossFit has changed my body and my mind over the past year and I can see the positive impact I’m making in her life (as well as my two older boys). I am a mentor and I need to be mentored. This summer I joined a small CrossFitting group which has been a great mentoring tool for me.

Never underestimate your ability to mentor! I am constantly being mentored while also mentoring others. Mentoring is just one person influencing another…keep up the good work!
