“Gospel” - first CrossFit Faith “Hero” Workout…
In the next 4 days, find a way to share the Gospel with all 20 people on your list from Monday’s workout!

Define the “Gospel.” Describe what makes it “good news.”

“Now, brothers, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. 2 By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.” (1 Corinthians 15:1-2)
Spend time in prayer for each of the people you listed on yesterday’s workout.
Why do you believe these people have been placed in your circle of influence?

We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives,[e] 10 so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way…” (Colossians 1:9-10)
Make a list of those who are in your “circle of influence.” Then, spend time in prayer for boldness in your leadership.

“Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. 3 And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains. 4 Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should. 5 Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. 6 Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.” (Colossians 4:2-5)
Identify one prominent leader in the Bible. Study his or her life, and answer the following questions:
1 - When and how were they designated a leader?
2 - What were their main leadership characteristics?
3 - How did the followers respond?
4 - Name any weaknesses of this leader.
5 - How does their life correspond with your leadership roles?

Acknowledge 3 leaders in your life. Give them a word of encouragement to let them know their work is appreciated.

Commit the following passage to memory, and answer this question:
What principles in God’s instructions to church leaders apply to your leadership roles?
“Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, serving as overseers - not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not greedy for money, but eager to serve; not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock. “ (1 Peter 5:2-3)
Contemporary English Version: “Just as shepherds watch over their sheep, you must watch over everyone God has placed in your care. Do it willingly in order to please God, and not simply because you think you must. Let it be something you want to do, instead of something you do merely to make money. Don’t be bossy to those people who are in your care, but set an example for them.”
