“I would not give much for your religion unless it can be seen.  Lamps do not talk, but they do shine." (Charles Spurgeon)

  1. We have a bible study through my box that we call the God WOD and we were just talking about this on Monday. I actually called today to get in touch with our local Habitat for Humanity. We're gonna see if we can hook up with them on a day that they need a lot of stuff moved. Hopefully we can get a bunch of people from the box to come out for a "service wod".

We're also looking into teaching some physical fitness classes at the local City Mission.

  2. Where can I find the chart you mention in the 'wod'? I found this through Rich's profile, very cool. Nice to see in the crossfit community. Can I start a chapter in my area? Would you consider helping me?

  3. Keven - go back to Monday's will find a link to the chart. And, we would be honored to help you establish your own version of CrossFit Faith in your area. Pray and think about it...let us know how we can help.

  4. I'm thinking I need to be constant about my blog, write at least 1 post each week about a topic planned and prayed.

  5. Almost caught up on the goal setting portion of this site. Today was more challenging and made me think quite a bit. I decided my goals would be 1. Integrate my faith clearly in my leadership philosophy statement (I am military and about to take over a new assignment where I will need to publish my philosophy) 2. Become aware of outreach programs at my local church where I can assist 3. Seek opportunities to be verbally open about the impact Christ has had on my current assignment as I prepare to leave. Ok, I have some work to do!
