(vs. 18) - "what you are to (say) will be given to you in that hour."(vs. 26) - "nothing is (covered) that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known"(vs. 31) - "you are of more (value) than many sparrows."However, it is up to us to keep these close and guarded in our hearts, because he says very clearly, (vs. 32-33) "So everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven, but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven."That's a tough saying, he makes it clear that he will protect us and guide us, but we have to find the truth and guard it, because it wont be easy, but the rewards will be greater than we could ever imagine.
1. We were called by Jesus. He knows our very name (v. 1).2. Jesus told us not to be afraid (v. 26).3. We are in His hands; in His care (v. 29).
God chose me before He created me...Verse 22, Christ helps us to not be afraid...Verse 28, Christ tells us to be afraid...Verse 39, Christ tells us if we find our life in Him, then we have nothing to be afraid of...I would like to learn the hymn written by Ira F. Stanphill in 1953 titled "Follow Me."
28 Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul.30 And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 31 So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.
