Faith Weekend WOD - 12/28/2012 to 12/30/2012

Pray for those in your "circle of influence."  Ask God for wisdom to lead them to greatness.

"Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the miracles themselves. 12 I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. 14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it." (John 14:11-14)

Faith WOD - 8/30/2012

Take 15 minutes of your day and simply meditate/pray about the major areas in your life.  Do not ask for specifics.  Simply put the areas before God, and make yourself available to receive what He throws your way.

*Share thoughts on Comments.

"My dear friends, you always obeyed what you were taught. Just as you obeyed when I was with you, it is even more important for you to obey now that I am not there. So you must continue to live in a way that gives meaning to your salvation. Do this with fear and respect for God. 13 Yes, it is God who is working in you. He helps you want to do what pleases him, and he gives you the power to do it." (Philippians 2:12-13)

"For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives,[e] 10 so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way..." (Colossians 1:9-10)

Faith Weekend WOD - 3/30/2012 to 4/1/2012

Add to your knowledge...

Commit this passage to memory"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

9 Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11 If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!" (Matthew 7:7-11)

Spiritual WOD - 2/16/2012

Every time you are confronted with anger today, commit to this 3-part program for peace:

1 -Don't speak, except to God in prayer.  If you are angry with another person, ask God to bless them.

2 -Do everything in your power to seek peace with this person, while maintaining integrity in your principles.

3 - Leave that which you can't control with God.

"Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. 15 Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. 16 Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position.  Do not be conceited. 17 Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. 18 If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. 19 Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: 'It is mine to avenge; I will repay,' says the Lord. 20 On the contrary: 'If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink.  In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.'  21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." (Romans 13:14-21)
